There is one day left in 2018 so we thought we would countdown and share with you some of the items and ideas we would put in our time capsule. For us they straddle the very specific space of the timely with the timeless; sometimes sublimely anachronistic, fundamentally classic, and are reflective of a value system we hold true to.
An important value we uphold is longevity. More encompassing than sustainability, longevity is long lasting enlightened and continuity reimagined. We need to maintain memory as a responsibility, ensure longevity of our practices and the impact of their outcomes; and so for 2019 onwards our design commitment is livability. From designing what to wear, how to use, and why it does, all questions posed and meanings addressed serve the purpose of being livable for ourselves and our surroundings.
