There are 7 days remaining in the tumultuous year of 2020 so we thought we would countdown and share with you some of the items and ideas we would put in our time capsule. For us they straddle the very specific space of the timely with the timeless; sometimes sublimely anachronistic, fundamentally classic, and are reflective of a value system we hold true to.
Our seventh item we are including is the lifetime warranty or a warranty that exists for the ownership of the item. For our duty as designers, we aim to create items that are reliable and that last, opposite of frequent and forced obsolescence. Patagonia has had this policy since its beginning, a policy even more important as we head into 2021.

If you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it to the store you bought it from or to Patagonia for a repair, replacement or refund. Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge.
